Kick back and relax in our kiwi bach with amazing lake views!
Reminiscent of the colorful retro bach’s from the old days but with more modern comforts we’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do.
Ideal for a cosy weekend away for two or for a fun adventure for two couples, it can be a space to unwind, listen to music and tuck into a cheeseboard or a space for a monopoly tournament over a few gins.
The lake is a favorite with trout fisherman and warm enough for a dip in Summer.
The space
Our bach is located next to the amazing Lake Poerua in the settlement of Inchbonnie on the wonderful West Coast of the South Island.
It’s the perfect location to use as a base for exploring the area - 15 minutes away from Lake Brunner, 16 minutes from Mitchell’s and 30 minutes from Kumara so there is lots to explore.
It’s completely self catered so make sure you stock up on supplies before you come and don’t forget your insect repellent! Lake Brunner is the closest location for supplies and petrol.
There are two bedrooms with a queen bed in each and bathroom with spacious shower and amazing water pressure. We are on tank supply so please be mindful of water usage in the drier months.
